Join us on Monday (10/22) at 6:00pm, as we kick off our monthly Munch & Learn series! Each month, we'll highlight an issue or project in the Smart Cities space, with speakers, presentations, and roundtable discussions. After each presentation, our workgroups and committees will meet together to work on their projects and ideas for the DIA. To best fuel the conversation, dinner will be on us!
For our inaugural presentation, we're proud to invite NAF Academy students from Kimball and Townview High Schools. These students will present a summary of their summer Environmental Health Internship, supported by the UNT School of Public Health. This project-based, integrative learning experience introduced students to environmental health, emerging sensor technology, data visualization and communication, and applications to support resilient and sustainable, 21st century urban environments.
