The Dallas Police department was recognized for its “Violent Crime Evidence-Based Reduction Plan” in the Data-Driven Policing category in 2022 IDC's Smart Cities North America awards. The awards were designed to recognize the progress municipalities have made in executing Smart Cities projects, as well as provide a forum for sharing best practices to help accelerate Smart City development.
